Week Beginning - 13.11.23

This week we had a special visitor! Jub arrived in our class having just travelled from her home in the enchanted forest. Jub is a magical character who lives in a hole in the forest and has six fingers which help her to scatter the 'happy endings' of stories. She is fresh from the book that we are reading in literacy for our power of reading. Our class interviewed Jub and then wrote letters to her.

Art

In art, kingfishers have learnt about 'line' and how to use them effectively in their drawings. They looked closely at the work of artists like Picasso and Matisse. Kingfishers created a line drawing onto a press print tile which they covered with printing ink and then pressed on to paper to create their prints.
