This week, Penguins have started their art unit on Space. They have been learning about the illusion of three dimensions in a two dimensional drawing.

They have also started their new Power of Reading unit which is all about World Heritage. They talked about a story called Monkey and Papa God, and they used their drama skills to re-enact an image from the book, showing the characters' thoughts and feelings.

In maths, children have been using place value to add and subtract up to 4 digit numbers.

In music, the children have been trying to follow notes played on the board using Glockenspiels. Some of the notes appeared quite quickly, but they got there in the end.
