We've been making horns to celebrate a Jewish holiday

This week in Robins:

In phonics, we have been practising letter formation for s, a, t, i, m, n, p, o

You can help your child by helping them recognise the letter and hear the sounds in different words. Below is the link on how to pronounce each sound:

In Maths, we have been comparing mass. We've explored different items that are heavier and lighter, using our arms as a human balance scale.

You can help your child by selecting different objects to test. You could also compare big/small as well.

This week, we also learnt about the Jewish celebrations Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashanah.

We created our own Shofar horns!

Please remember:

Thursdays are our PE day – please come to school in PE kits.

Wednesdays are our new library day – please bring library books in to change.

Every day – please bring a water bottle and book bags.

Please do not put water bottles in book bags.

Best wishes,

Miss Stratton, Emma and Becca.
