Canaries loved dressing up for the Halloween disco, plenty of fun was had by all, including lots of dancing on the dance floor. A huge thank-you to Friends of Eastgate, for organising the event.

Congratulations to the Star of the week this week, and to those who passed their tackling tables tests.  All students have received a certificate to celebrate their achievements. 

In science we have been investigating surface area. We made different sized parachutes from paper and added paper-clips as a weight. We then investigated the surface area by dropping them from the same height and timing how long it took to reach the ground. 

 

In our art module we have been learning about different types of print making, we have created our own prints and learnt about some famous print makers, such as: Andy Warhol, Rembrandt, Hokusai and Hogarth.
