Week beginning 16.06.25

A huge congratulations for being star of the week and receiving the handwriting and presentation award. Keep up the hard work. Also a mention to the Canaries who had celebrated their birthdays, Happy Birthday!

Year 5 and 6 had the opportunity to go along to the Guildhall and have a look at the archeological finds after removing the old flooring. The floor boards under the old floor are said to have been the ones Shakespeare performed on. The children loved looking at some of the items found, making sure to wear their protective gloves to preserve them and magnifying glasses to study them.

We created posters for the Climate Champions presentation taking place next Wednesday,  and our green team worked together to write a speech ready to present our work. Canaries focused on food waste and how we can promote reducing food waste in our school and at home. The posters are fantastic, and the children were really proud of their work.

Spellings will be sent on Mondays and our spelling test will take place on a Friday.

P.E will still take place on Tuesday as well as the library visit.

Thank you for your continued support.

Mrs Bussey, Mrs Gosling and Mrs Fyson.
