Week Beginning 15.07.25

Congratulations to those children who received star of the week certificates and handwriting and presentation awards. Keep up the hard work!

A great turn out for the karaoke evening for year 5 and 6. It was great to see the children get up on the stage and perform their favourite songs. A massive thank-you to friends for organising the event. Lots of fun was had.

On Thursday, Canaries joined in with a World War 2 activity day. The children had a fantastic time and are looking forward to learning more about WW1 and WW2 in History when they go into year 6. During the day, the children had lots of opportunities to role-play, and we learnt about the timeline of events of the war. Towards the end of the day, we got to look at medals, helmets and memorabilia from WW2.

All library books have now been returned,  all reading books are due to be returned by the end of the week.

We just wanted to take the opportunity to say that it has been a pleasure teaching Canaries this academic year, they have worked extremely hard and we are extremely proud of what they have achieved. We wish Canaries class of 24/25 the best of luck going into year 6 and a fantastic summer break.

Thank-you for your continued support this year. Mrs Bussey, Mrs Gosling and Mrs Fyson.
