Congratulations to those children who received star of the week, handwriting and presentation awards, pen licence and tackling tables certificates. Keep up the hard work.
Canaries have had a very busy 2 weeks with lots of hands-on learning.
In D.T, we have designed and created our very own roller-coasters. The class worked really hard and we had some fantastic results.
In science we have been experimenting with pulleys levers and gears.
In literacy, we have completed our independent write, the children wrote a poem based on the story of the Highway Rat by Julia Donaldson, in the style of writing from The Highwayman by Alfred Knolwes. If you have time please check out our notice board in the hall, some of the poems have been displayed here.
Today we had a visit from the team at the Guildhall for Shakespeare week. Focusing on the play twelfth night. It was a fantastic morning, full of fun, music and dancing.
Spellings will take place on Wednesday next week. Our library slot will still be on Monday afternoon, so this is a great chance for the children to change their books before the Easter break. P.E will be Friday next week rather than Monday.
Thank you for your continued support.
Mrs Bussey, Mrs Gosling and Mrs Fyson.
