In literacy, Canaries have written a poem about The Highway Rat in the style of The Highwayman. Every single child worked extremely hard and they were a fantastic read. I want to say a huge well done for a great piece of writing to all in the class, myself and the other adults in the class were very proud of their final pieces. These children received a head teacher's award for their fantastic efforts.
Tomorrow we break up for the Easter break. Myself, Mrs Gosling and Mrs Fyson want to wish you a happy, sun-filled break and look forward to the return on the 23rd April.
During the break, please continue to encourage your children to read three times a week and practice their timetables ready for our new topic on fractions when they return.
