In science and outdoor learning this week, the children have been learning about solids, liquids and gases. In outdoor learning, the children saw what solids, liquids and gases they could find in the natural environment. In science, the children were also making predictions about how much ice would be left in a cup after 3 hours and what the temperature would be.

In literacy, the children used time adverbials to create sentences about a gladiator arena. They also labelled a Roman gladiator outfit so they could write similes about it.

On the 23rd April the children learnt about St. George and the legend of his fight with a dragon.
