This week we have been working on some co-ordinates and translation in maths.
In Geography, we have been learning about mountains across the world. The children enjoyed this topic, saying:
Scarlett- I enjoyed learning all the facts about Mount Everest.
Ayo- My favourite part of geography was learning about the Himalayas.
Darian- I found the Himalayas and the Alps the most interesting.
Kamila- I liked watching all the different videos about the different mountains, as they were about real people and real life experiences.
Archie B- I liked learning about the mountains while watching the videos. It was good to see real people doing the climbs in real life. I also learnt some crazy facts, especially about Mount Everest.
We have been concentrating on filling in some gaps ready for the year 6 SATS and finishing our Literacy ready for our next unit to start.
