Week Beginning 8.1.24

A grrrrrrreat week in Robins class!

Well done to Robins class this week, who are all Star of the Week!

This week we have had lots on!

We have been:

Subitising amounts of dots and using spatial language to describe what we see

Looking at different pictures of Planet Earth and discussing the similarities and differences. We also learnt the Makaton signs for tree, town, sea and sand.

Investigating an egg that turned up in our outside area! The children were all very excited when it cracked open! What could have been inside?

We also went on a trip to Stories of Lynn to see the Tiger that Came to Tea exhibit. The children learnt all about Judith Kerr and her life. They listened to the story 'The Tiger that Came to Tea', then had lots of fun activities, such as making a tiger mask, exploring WW2 memorabilia, meeting a real life tiger and having time to explore the Tiger that Came to Tea kitchen.

Please remember:

Mondays - Library books and PE kits

Every day - water bottles and book bags with reading books in

Please do not put water bottles in book bags.

Best wishes,

Miss Stratton, Emma and Becca
