Congratulations to the above pupils who received certificates for handwriting, PE and for being our Star of the Week.
We started maths in Year 5 looking at fact families for addition and subtraction. In the above photos we are using Cuisenaire Rods to build bar models, which we used to create number sentences.
Our first art unit this term is style. We began by discussing smooth and rough styles before trying to create our own sketches of each, using pastels and pears.
