Week Beginning - 4.3.24

Congratulations to the above pupil who have received certificates for Handwriting and for being Star of the Week.

In literacy, we finished retelling the four stories of Krishna the Blue God with a performance in the assembly hall.

We have started learning about decimal numbers in maths. Throughout this week we have been using maths dictionaries and different representations to help us identify and correctly place tenths. We have also been linking decimals to fractions and percentages.

We looked at the key features of rollercoasters in our DT lesson before designing our own.

We came dressed as our favourite characters for World Book Day and enjoyed watching a live lesson with different authors on BBC Teach.

We had the opportunity to learn about World War 2 during our trip to Duxford Imperial War Museum on Friday... this has made us more excited about studying this unit next year!
