Big Norfolk Holiday Fun

Congratulations to the above pupils from Canaries Class. As a group, they not only beat the competition from their own class but from lots of different Year 5 classes across Norfolk. As a school, we signed up for a county wide competition lead by the Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk. It was a six-week project aimed at primary school pupils. The challenge was for each class to plan, design and build their own prototype based on green technology that would improve the climate of their local town for the future. The judges said Canaries Class won based on their collaboration, effort and most importantly, their understanding of green technology!
This is an extremely impressive result and the children have won prizes for the school and themselves. Once again, congratulations to Mrs Bussy, Mrs Gosling, all the children in Canaries Class and the above 5 pupils for winning the overall competition! We are all very proud of you.
Congratulations to our first cake raffle winner this week. We hope you enjoy your seriously chocolatey cake! Thank you for our cake donation.
Congratulations to the above pupil who won a fabulous Cadbury's Flake chocolate cake. Thank you to Mrs Hothersall for today's donation.
