Welcome to Kingfishers Class

Staff In Kingfishers class, we have a teacher and two Teaching Assistants: Miss Rutter (Teacher - Monday – Friday), Miss Oliver (Teaching Assistant – Monday to Friday) and Mrs Clinch (Teaching Assistant – Monday to Wednesday). Currently, our PE day is on a Tuesday, and this is taught by Mr Enters.

Homework and Expectations

Kingfishers class is a mixed class, including year three and year four students. Every Friday your child will be set some homework. In addition to this, we expect each child to read as often as possible. For year three students, we expect fifteen minutes, ideally with an adult; for year four students twenty minutes, again ideally with an adult. Times Tables

Students in year four will sit the National Multiplication Tables Check (MTC), which will demonstrate their knowledge of times tables. It is important that all children, both in year three and year four practice their tables. Information on our times tables homework will be sent home with your child.
