Eastgate Academy introduced wraparound clubs each day after school for children from Reception to year 6  which started on 3rd November 2025. Unlike in previous years, these will run every day and will not be cancelled. There will be a cost of £3.00 per child attending each club booked, which will include a snack and drink. All clubs will run from 3pm to 4pm each day.  For the safety of the children, places are limited to 20 pupils per club.  

We kindly ask that all children are booked in and paid for in advance via the Pupil Asset website. Where there is no payment made, we will not be able to offer a place for your child. For any cancellations made as a result of illness, the fee already paid will be carried forward.   

Emergency bookings can be booked and paid for on a one-off basis via the school office by 2pm latest, but regular bookings will be given priority. 

Please be aware that Arts & Crafts club will run for 7 weeks and will be a block booking due to pupils doing longer-term projects.

Collection after Wraparound Clubs 

Pupils will be brought out to the pedestrian gate at 4pm to be collected. If your child is in years 5 & 6, and you have provided us with your permission for your child to leave unsupervised at the end of the normal school end day, which is 3pm, could we please ask you to inform the school office whether your child will walk on their own or will you collect them at the end of club. If we fail to have such confirmation, for safeguarding reasons, your child will not be released to walk home.
