Doves Class

Staff

In Doves class we have two teachers: Mrs Seville (Monday to Wednesday) and Mrs Gosling (Thursday and Friday). Our teaching assistants are Miss Cook (mornings) and Miss Hanks, who works all week.

Homework and Expectations
Doves class is a mixed class, including year three and year four students.

Every week your child will be set some homework. In addition to this, we expect each child to read as often as possible. For year three students, we expect fifteen minutes, ideally with an adult; for year four students, twenty minutes, again ideally with an adult.

Times Tables

Students in year four will sit the National Multiplication Tables Check (MTC), which will demonstrate their knowledge of times tables. It is important that all children, both in year three and year four practice their tables. Information on our time tables homework will be sent home with your child.

We hope your child will enjoy learning many new things in Doves class. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to speak to one of the staff adults.
